Operating Instructions:
Press the Side Switch to turn the light on and off at low setting.
Press the Tailcap button to momentarily turn on the light at high setting.
Twist the Tailcap clockwise to turn the light on at high setting, twist counter clockwise to turn it off.
When the light is on high setting, the side switch alternates the light between low and high setting.
When the light is on low setting, twisting the tailcap clockwise will NOT over ride the light level, and twisting counter clockwise will NOT turn off the light.
When the light is on low setting and the twisty tailcap is halfway turned, press the side switch to turn off the light.
When the light is on low setting and the twisty tailcap is fully turned, press the side switch to change to high setting.
Notes:
The rechargeable Li-ion battery that comes with the light uses a LG battery cell. A protection circuit was added to the battery cell to prevent overcharge and deep discharge. The AC charger that comes with the light is a 4.6V/1.2A AC charger. It is highly recommended to only use the original battery and charger with this product. A regular 18650 battery won't work with the Turbo Flashlight. Please do not use a charger with voltage higher than 4.6V or current higher than 1.2A with the Turbo Flashlight.
Warranty Information:
- We have a One-year Warranty on the Battery and AC Charger. The Turbo LED Flashlight itself has a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Excluded from warranty is:
Damage due to normal wear, Abuse, Improper use and/or maintenance, Scratches to the finish, and Disassembly of parts and/or attempted repair by anyone other than an authorized employee of SST.
- The LED Lens itself is not replaceable, should it become scratched, cracked, or otherwise damaged. Please call (785) 832-8818 if you need to replace the Turbo LED head.
- The Side Switch unit is replaceable; please make sure to keep the metal washer inside, as it helps make good contact between the side switch unit and housing.
- The Tail Switch works via mechanical contact. If the flashlight is flickering, it is likely due to a poor contact between the housing "edge" and the Tailcap interior. It is recommended to occasionally use rubbing alcohol or WD-40 to clean the contacts.
- Battery Lifetime: Rated for 300-500 Recharges. Note: Dropping the flashlight may damage the battery's protection circuit and significantly decrease the battery life.
- If the battery is left unused for a long period of time, it may not work if the battery voltage gets too low; recharging will reactivate the battery.
